Another beautiful Portland Summer

The Magic Flute

Portland Opera

(details here)

May 6, 8 (matinée), 12 & 14 at Portland’s Keller Auditorium

Mozart’s musical fairy tale brings to life the magical adventures of Pamina, our fearless heroine, Tamino, the hopeless romantic, and one entertaining, love-sick sidekick, Papageno. The magic is helped along by a pack of pint-sized Genies, led by yours truly. The trio of Spirits travels by balloon and sings some of the most beautiful music in the opera. This stunning production was designed by celebrated writer and illustrator Maurice Sendak, author of one of my favorite children’s books, Where the Wild Things Are.

A great show for all ages!

A Midsummer Night’s Dream

June 24 – July 1 at The Round Amphitheater (Beaverton)

Experience Theatre Project brings its first mainstage production outside with one of Shakespeare’s most celebrated, whimsical works. Performances will take place at the outdoor amphitheater of The Round, located right next to the Beaverton City Hall, Blue MAX line. Catherine is thrilled to be playing the clever, mischievous imp named Robin Goodfellow, otherwise known as Puck.

Also great for all ages!

Jan/Feb 2016:
Catherine had the pleasure of playing the overanalyzing, way-too-smart-for-her-age, Dad(s)-pleasing, language-loving, and incredibly lovable Logainne Schwartzandgrubenierre in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee with Broadway Rose Theatre Company.
May/June 2015:
Playing the jilted lover twice in one show, Catherine was both Sally Cato and Gloria in Mame at Lakewood Theatre Company. You charm the husk right off of the corn!
