Kurt Weill’s One Touch of Venus & more

PERFORMANCE DATES: February 21 & 22:

One Touch of Venus continues the Lakewood Theatre Lost Treasures series with its beautiful melodies, both familiar (I’m a Stranger Here Myself and Speak Low) and less heard (How much I Love You and That’s Him), and the love, comedy and chaos one would expect when an ancient statue of the goddess of love comes to life. Catherine plays Gloria, the less-than-lovable fiancé of Rodney, the leading man.

Friday, February 21: 7:00
Saturday, February 22: 2:00 & 7:00
Lakewood Center for the Performing Arts
368 S. State Street, Lake Oswego, OR

Other Upcoming Performances:

Monday, March 10, 7:30pm – Music by the Winslow Brothers with March Music Moderne at The Old Church (1422 SW 11th Ave, Portland)

May 30 & 31, June 5, 6, & 7 – Giasone and the Argonauts with Opera Theatre Oregon at the Hollywood Theatre
