Mock’s Crest Light Opera: Die Fledermaus

An operetta composed by Johann Strauss II in 1874, DieFledermaus [The Bat] is still one of the most popular farces on the stage today. Mistaken identity, secret love affairs, and boisterous partying play to the tune of a Viennese waltz with a newly translated libretto by Director Kristine McIntyre, conducted by Tracey Edson. At the center of the action is the saucy maid, Adele, played by Catherine, who is determined to get her way, be it party-hopping or finding her destiny as a stage actress!
